ANGELA TAYLOR REALTOR

If there was just one word to describe Angela Taylor, it would be PASSIONATE—she is an avid lover of all things real estate and family! For Angela, clients become part of the family, and she treats them as such.  Whether it’s finding them the perfect home to fit their lifestyle, or helping to sell their current home as quickly and for as much profit as possible, she always works as diligently as if she was working for her own family!

 

Buying and/or selling a home can be a wild ride, and Angela’s background in full time ministry has given her an innate ability to communicate, counsel, and advise her clients through some of the most emotionally exciting and exhausting times in their lives! She cares about each member of the family, and carefully learns how to help them find the right place to call home.  

 

SELLING

When listing a home, Angela helps her clients to think like a buyer, thoughtfully considering their perspective from the moment they walk in the door, to the time they put in the offer, and through negotiations. As a former creative arts director for a local mega church, Angela learned the art of marketing and advertising. She uses that skill along with her social media savvy, to effectively communicate the lifestyle a home offers to potential buyers and ultimately to get them in the door.  Angela always strives to go above and beyond expectations and works daily to prospect for potential buyers for her client’s home. By utilizing BuySide technology and the MLS portal, Angela targets the match and then calls, texts, and emails other local agents to let them know that their client’s needs can be met with her client’s home. She considers it “house match making”. This drive for excellence and her client’s overwhelming satisfaction with her services, have led her to become the local expert for listing homes in and around the 380/423 corridor which includes: Little Elm, Frisco, and Prosper.

 

BUYING LOCALLY

When helping her buyers to find a new home, Angela always strives to be a wealth of information. She pours over data, listings, and local development to become the expert of her client’s targeted communities.  Every day she begins her morning office routine by familiarizing herself with the new listings that have hit the market. She thinks of each of her client’s needs and if she finds a match, she sends the property their way. Angela loves showing homes to her clients and helping them visualize furniture placement and giving decorating and renovation ideas. When it comes to negotiations, Angela always aims to find the win for her clients, getting them the best deal on the home they love. She has also helped many clients to successfully win in multiple offer situations even when they didn’t have the highest offer by thinking like a seller and writing tight, clean and appealing offers.

 

RELOCATION BUYERS

Angela grew up in the Plano, TX area and attended college for a period of time at the University of Texas in Austin, where she met her husband, Tim. After living in the Frisco area for a couple of years as newlyweds, they relocated 2000 miles from home to MAINE! Being a transplant in a foreign state was a life changing experience for them both. Angela had to learn very quickly how to make new friends and to form deep relationships that would eventually lead to those friends becoming more like her “family” away from home. When relocating to Maine, the Taylors had ONE trip scheduled to find a home. They found that working with the local expert, who pointed out all the amenities that each community offered, was a huge help. After 9 years in Maine, the Taylors and their two children, Katy and John, moved back home to the Frisco, Texas area. This time, they made several trips back and forth to find the right home and discovered that after living in a 60+ year old home for the past decade, new construction was the best fit.  The Taylors began what would be the first of 3 homes they built from the ground up. In addition, they have owned two new construction inventory homes. All of this life experience relocating and finding homes and learning how to build community has given Angela a personal desire to help other families as they embark on their relocation journey to Texas! Angela prides herself on being a native Texan, and having grown up in the Highland Park and Lake Highland areas of DFW before moving to Plano in the 5th grade, she has learned first-hand, what it’s like to live in many areas of the metroplex. One of her great talents is her ability to listen to her buyers and discover what they are passionate about and then match them with the community that best fits their needs. Angela understands what it is like to have just one weekend to find that perfect place to call home, and gives her relocation buyers her utmost attention, offering to pick them up from their hotel, show them around the area, and taking them to the best local eateries after a long day of house hunting. By the time Angela’s clients close on their new home, they know they have at least one new friend that will look out for them.

 

NEW HOME SALES

If a buyer is interested in what the new construction world has to offer, Angela uses her personal building experience as well as her experience helping dozens of local families with their build process to educate her clients and help them every step of the way. Angela sells many new homes every year and has developed report with local builders. She has honed the art of negotiating with builders to get the best value and incentives for her clients. Angela was recently awarded the title of TOP TEN REALTORS for Windsong Ranch, a new home master planned community in Prosper.  

 

BECOMING A TEAM

Angela was honored as Rookie of the Year in out of 1200 agents at her former brokerage, and was given the diamond circle of excellence award for selling over $10 Million in volume in her first year. She has been nominated for Realtor of the Year, Top Sales Person, and Mentor of the Year. Since then, her husband Tim joined her in the business and they were most recently awarded Top Small Team at Ebby Prosper | Celina in 2018, as well as reaching Triple Star Plus level with $15.5 million in sales volume. They continue to strive to put their clients first and to provide exceptional service as they build lifelong friendships and enduring trust. You will find Angela “out front” working directly with home sellers and buyers, while Tim is running the “behind the scenes operations.”

 

PERSONAL LIFE

When she’s not busy helping her clients, Angela enjoys spending time with her family and her two cats, Boomer and Little Bear. Her son John recently began playing soccer and she is learning to embrace the new role of soccer mom! Angela also loves spending individual time with her daughter Katy every Wednesday night as she volunteers to lead Katy’s small group at their local church youth ministry. Tim and Angela are avid travelers and love to explore the history, art, architecture, food and wine of different regions. Their favorite US cities include D.C., New York, and Las Vegas. Recently the Taylors spent 12 days in France and discovered the best of each small town from Paris all the way to Nice! The country overwhelmed them with new sites and has become a part of them! Angela is currently taking French lessons to help with future trips!  In addition to a love for travel, Tim and Angela are lovers of music and attend concerts as frequently as possible—especially if Dave Matthews Band, Coldplay, or John Mayer are in town! You may also find them enjoying the outdoors, paddle boarding, kayaking, jogging, or throwing punches in MMA classes!
